Green Fairfield Inn Selects Monkee-Boy For Site Redesign
Monkee-Boy has been selected to redesign the web site of Baltimore's first green hotel, the Fairfield Inn & Suites - Baltimore Inner Harbor (www.greenfairfieldinn.com). The hotel is the first LEED Certified Silver Marriott hotel. The focus of the site redesign is to bring to life the eco-friendly aspects of the hotel and translate those to the web.
The site wil highlight the hotel's green initiatives, such as using green power from sustainable, renewable sources; hypoallergenic environments free from smoke, dander and chemicals; landscaping with local plants and recycled materials; water re-use for irrigation; and alternative transportation for associates and guests.
The partnership makes sense, since Monkee-Boy has demonstrated a commitment to the environment through its "Tree Initiative" — a joint-program with American Forests designed to offset the energy used to host and view the web sites it launches on behalf of each client.
