Aaron Bramwell

Founder and Creative Director

Aaron is responsible for overseeing all design and project management elements of Monkee-Boy projects. With over a decade of visual design, web and multimedia development experience, Aaron provides valuable leadership in advancing Monkee-Boy's client sites to new levels of design, usability and impact.

Serving in many high tech roles – from building a website that received more than one million hits per day for United Devices, to developing one of Austin's "Top 10 Most Visited Sites" for Hire.com – Aaron has built a solid reputation for helping companies translate business goals into clean, effective and intuitive user experiences.

Immediately prior to Monkee-Boy, Aaron served as the Senior Designer at Powered, Inc. where he crafted high-end educational portals for dozens of Fortune 500 clients including Sony, Intel, Gateway Computers, Yahoo!, Buy.com, AOL, and Corel.

Aaron holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin College of Fine Arts and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Joe Pickerill

Partner and Marketing Director

Joe is responsible for defining, planning, implementing and measuring online marketing campaigns for Monkee-Boy customers. Providing leadership in web marketing, search engine optimization and advertising (SEO/SEA), and analytics for over a decade, he works with clients during each project to help them define online goals and set up appropriate systems to measure how well the site is meeting those goals.

Through Joe's history in high-tech, he has an extensive background in all things web – design, development, backend technologies, project management, analytics, user interaction and more – all of which come to play in each Monkee-Boy project. His history is filled with successfully planned and executed high-ROI online marketing programs, driving site traffic and creating buzz for companies like IBM's Software Group, Planview, MessageOne, TriActive and Tivoli Systems.

Prior to joining Monkee-Boy, Joe served as the Internet Marketing Manager and later the Product Marketing Manager for Convio where he worked with clients to define and develop the company's industry leading web based software products. Joe holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin College of Communication.

Maureen Q. Shiver

Director of Account Management and Operations

Maureen 'Mo' Shiver has more than 20 years of operational and management experience with process development, project and resource management, and program management in web, customer support and marketing fields.

At Monkee-Boy, Mo oversees day-to-day operations, helps guide overall business strategy and focuses heavily on continually improving and being responsive to customer needs. Prior to joining Monkee-Boy, Mo held multiple management positions at IBM Software Group and Powered, Inc. (an Austin-based social marketing firm).

At Powered, Mo was Director of Operations where she built and managed the Operations organization responsible for first through third level support escalation teams, moderator and instructor management, and internal service delivery. These programs were in support of social marketing solutions for large brands including HP, Sony and Motorola. Prior to her four year stint at Powered, Mo managed an internal web design and development agency for IBM Software group.

Hoa Vo

Sr. Internet Specialist

As Sr. Internet Specialist, Hoa (pronounced "Wah") has been leading Monkee-Boy's ongoing client maintenance and site development since 2006. Her main focus is on keeping current client sites up-to-date and providing incredible support and turnaround at crazy hours. Hoa also assists in the loading, formatting, and optimization of client content into new projects and ensures overall quality assurance for each project.

Hoa graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in Biology. Prior to joining Monkee-Boy, she worked in the Healthcare Industry. In her spare time, she enjoys baking Monkee-Boy cakes & pastries and playing tennis & golf.

Johnny Dimas

Lead Developer

Born and raised in the boondocks of South Texas, Johnny decided to venture further north to Austin, TX, where he attended the University of Texas at Austin. While nearing the completion of his degree, Johnny joined forces with Monkee-Boy, a juncture of biblical proportions to the web technology world. As lead web developer, he ensures that all websites are properly developed, optimized and formatted for cross-browser compatibility, to guarantee a great experience for our clients' end customers.

Johnny is not all HTML and JavaScript, though – he enjoys traveling the world and spending his money at Jim's Diner on their award-winning tortilla soup. He is an appreciator of art and draws inspiration from the works he sees.

Soumya N. Ashok

Designer / Developer

Soumya (Miya) is fresh-off-the-plane from India, and has made her home in Austin for the past three years. Her graphic design background helps her create interesting and effective print communication for Monkee-Boy's clients. She handles logo design, brand identity, print collateral, display design and t-shirt design to name a few.

Ever willing to learn, Miya has already expanded her skill-set to include basic Web Design and Development in the short time she has been with the company. She retains a sense of fun in the workplace, and loves contributing to the team in any way she can – whether it's designing a site, or putting up client logos in the conference room. Miya is a trained Indian classical vocalist, and is currently learning different styles of dance and putting her talents to use in theater productions within the Indian community in Austin. She also designs print pieces for charities in Austin pro-bono, as a way of giving back.

Cody Rushing

Internet Specialist

Cody brings a broad understanding of web technologies to Monkee-Boy. He works alongside Hoa as a part of Monkee-Boy's robust maintenance team, as well as with Johnny on the site development side of things. When clients want new features added to their site, he makes sure they are built to spec and polished before they are out the door.

Cody is a lifelong Austinite and recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. You can find him riding his fixie through town, possibly on the way to a late night swim at Barton Springs.
