Bullock Texas State History Museum

Welcoming more than 450,000 visitors a year, The Bullock Texas State History Museum is Texas' official history museum and features 500 ever-changing artifacts that span more than 13,000 years. It also includes the largest IMAX® Theatre in Texas, a 4D special-effects theater, a cafe and a Museum Store. When tasked with expanding the physical Museum experience online to increase the reach to all Texans, connecting the past with the present, and building new digital collections of artifacts and stories through user generated content, Monkee-Boy was selected to help chart the way.

The Mobility35 Program is an initiative created by TxDOT with a goal of improving mobility and connectivity for all modes of transportation ranging from cars to bikes to pedestrians. When the organization identified that Central Texas's audience needed a more innovative and tech savvy way to collect, manage, and distribute this information, they called Monkee-Boy.

The Austin Chamber is a private, non-profit, membership-driven organization comprised of over 3,200 business enterprises, civic organizations, educational institutions, and individuals. They tackle the biggest issues facing business, so Austin businesses can focus on growing their business and supporting the community. When it came time to transform their site, they came back to Monkee-Boy for a second time to lead the way.

CTRMA - The MoPac App

When the The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) began construction on the MoPac Expressway, they wanted to make it as painless as possible for Austin residents.

Monkee-Boy designed and developed a mobile app that pushes construction alerts, like lane closures, to anyone with a smartphone.

CTRMA - 183 North Mobility Project

The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) contacted Monkee-Boy when they needed a series of websites to keep residents informed of their efforts to alleviate congestion along 183 North.

Austin is a growing city. 110 new people move here a day. But nobody loves sitting in traffic. An accessible, easy to navigate, informative website was a must so that the CTRMA could maintain good relationships with the people impacted most by the increase in vehicles.
