ABC Pest Control and Lawn Service today announced the launch of its new website at www.abcpest.com. The new design brings the Austin, Bryan/College Station, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston and San Antonio branches under one cohesive web site.

The site was designed and developed by Austin-based Monkee-Boy Web Design, Inc. to incorporate hundreds of web pages that span residential and commercial services ranging from pest control and lawn services to heating and plumbing.

The primary goals of the project were to:

  • enable users to quickly locate their location and service of interest;
  • improve the appointment-scheduling process;
  • integrate rich media for a high-end user experience;
  • develop a Texas-centric design that reinforces the ABC brand; and
  • maintain currently high search rankings.

""The challenge was to upgrade the look of the site while improving it's marketing effectiveness,"" said Aaron Bramwell, Monkee-Boy founder and creative director. ""Early indications from our year-over-year measurement program show that in the three weeks the new site has been live, online appointments scheduled have more than doubled over the same period in 2008.""

Other new additions to the web presence include a knowledge base that allows nontechnical ABC staffers to manage content; video clips of ABC's popular TV ads; and hundreds of on-the-job pictures.
